Today is just one of those days where last minute errands need to be done and I’m finding myself with only 10 minutes to quickly brush my hair, put a little bit of makeup and run out the door. I’ve always been one to literally make the time to look decent even on trips to the grocery store. In my world, the saying: “you never know who you’re going to bump into”, is always one that I have lived by. I don’t necessarily go full-face glam with color correcting or baking, but I moreso prioritize my brows, lashes and lips. Keep reading to get a quick look of my beauty on the go process and some of my favorite products for a minimal face.
My eye makeup routine has always been primer, shadow, liner and finally mascara. From what used to be a whole 20 minutes spent on my eyes, it now take 5-8 minutes to get a beautiful eye look after visiting Amazing Lash Studio-Atascosita. I always played around with the thought of getting lash extensions, but considering how big of a financial commitment it would be, I always second guessed it when I was ready to pull the trigger. Thanks to Amazing Lash Studio, I finally got to experience this amazing lash makeover that beauty aficionados swear by! Keep reading to get a full scope of my first lash extension experience.
This summer was a season of discovery. In the past, I used to just accept my oily skin for what it was and tried to bear with it throughout the hot, humid summer days. This year, I decided to put that lazy habit behind me and start investing in a couple of products that have changed the way and what I wear on my face during the summer. I made some pretty sweet discoveries along the way and have found some of the most amazing gems at Sephora and the drugstore. I’m super happy with my roundup of go-to products for the summer as they’re probably going to become some of my most necessary staples in my regular routine for the remainder of the year. When life gave me lemons, I made lemonade. Since I last blogged, we signed a lease for our new home in the Heights and I got a new job. It’s still crazy to me how in just a matter of a few weeks, my life changed in the best of ways. I got out of a situation that became so toxic that it affected all parts of my life, including my passion project (Nancy Sparkles). Through the madness of whatever that was, I learned the meaning of what loving your job really meant. It means, feeling the residual happiness all the way home, not feeling stuck with the people you work with and where you want to end up as a professional and most importantly, having the opportunity to learn. I can finally say that I now have that and more. I joined an amazing team who really gets how it is and never gets tired of empowering each other to do their best for both themselves and the agency. With that, I’m happy to finally have the energy to put towards Nancy Sparkles, my relationship and what’s going to be our new home in a few weeks! I know I have my loyal readers that keep up with my blog and I want to make this post a quick update on where I’ve been and where I’m going. I couldn’t thank any single one of you enough for sticking around during a really rough time in my life. If it weren’t for you, I would have closed this part of my life without a doubt, but I know that I owe it to you and myself to keep doing what I love. Stay tuned for my Summer Beauty Favorites in the next few days!
Until next time loves ✨
